panzerpenguin A mournful and eerie imaginative engagement with the elusive pagan tradition of northwestern Europe. Musically this touches on the territory of Blood Axis ca. 'Electricity' but with the characteristically melancholic atmosphere of Heldentod. Track 3 is based on an excerpt from the Welsh mystic Arthur Machen's classic horror story 'The White People'. Tracks 4 and 5 are based on the same Anglo-Saxon poem, with the former using a modern English translation and the latter the original text. Favorite track: The Last Pagan King of Europe.
